Communication and information 

iryo provides people with special needs and reduced mobility with information about the accessibility of the rail services offered, as well as the conditions of access to the rolling stock and about the facilities on board the train.  

Accessibility and the need for accompaniment 

In accordance with applicable regulations, ADIF, in its capacity as manager of the railway infrastructure and in particular of the stations, is responsible for ensuring access for disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility to stations and boarding areas, so that these persons may board the outbound train and disembark the inbound train. For its part, iryo, through the services contracted with ADIF, ensures the boarding and disembarking of trains and, within them, accessibility to its onboard services and equipment.  

Persons with reduced mobility 

In accordance with applicable regulations, ADIF is responsible for ensuring access to stations and boarding areas for disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility, so that they can board and disembark the train. The spaces provided for wheelchair users on iryo trains are strictly reserved for them.
